Application deadline
January 20, 2017

Grad Cohort event
San Francisco, USA
April 13-14, 2018

Application deadline: January 20, 2018

Since 2004, CRA-W (Computing Research Association Committee on Women) has been running the very successful Grad Cohort program. Focused on graduate students, the goal of Grad Cohort is to ultimately increase the number of senior women in computing-related studies and research. The program builds and mentors communities of women throughout the U.S. and Canada. As part of the ACM-CRA partnership, ACM is interested in extending this sort of program to areas outside of North America. The next Grad Cohort event will be April 13-14, 2018 in San Francisco, CA. We have funding to send to this event a group of faculty from outside North America who are interested in potentially launching a similar program in their area. These faculty attendees will participate in the Grad Cohort activities as mentors and also meet with CRA-W organizers in order to learn more about the organization and goals of the Grad Cohort program.

ACM-W will be selecting the faculty attendees, coordinating arrangements with the Grad Cohort organizers, and handling reimbursement. Complete this form to indicate interest on the part of a faculty group from your area. The deadline to complete the form is January 20, 2018. We will notify applicants within two weeks of that date.
