ACM SIGARCH follow-up statement about violations of code of ethics
Dear members of the computer architecture community,
We recently communicated a joint statement with IEEE TCCA about an ongoing investigation into alleged reviewing irregularities at ISCA’19. On behalf of ACM SIGARCH, we hereby communicate an additional statement regarding incidents at other conferences. There are members of the community who have come forward with allegations of ethics violations (e.g., including personal or email contacts requesting support for a paper under review). ACM is investigating such incidents and it is ACM policy to treat all aspects of an investigation with utmost regard for confidentiality. We ask members of our community with any knowledge of behavior that violates these codes to come forward, by contacting “chair_sigarch@acm.org”.
Please contact the SIGARCH Chair (chair_sigarch@acm.org) for any questions, concerns or feedback.
